Music and Videos

Tony Lynn loved music, loved bands (particularly rock and roll); he had a great voice.  He wrote and recorded with his son Jeff those annual holiday songs of our lives together.  Those songs are amazing recordings of each of the last several years, and of his and Jeff’s shared love of music.

Tony loved music and performing so much, he once hired a band to play at one of our parties in Neavitt. A few excerpts of his performing from our bedroom (because of east coast rain) are included in the video strings.  He would hold improptu jam sessions in Neavitt, strumming away on his guitar, singing around the fire pit, or at the town picnics (also attached in videos).

One of our Maryland neighbors described Tony’s singing at the 2018 town picnic:  “I was blown away with Tony’s voice and spirit singing songs from my youth.  He had the right growl for a bluesman, and clearly could make music –I would have loved him to continue on and on. I would have loved him to continue, but with his characteristic humility, he didn’t want to overshadow the band.  They returned to their competent playing – but the star quality had left the stage.”
