Tony was committed to the entertainment industry and very successful in so many important areas of the business. From domestic and international distribution, to cable channel launches, to expanding pay television in the US and around the world Tony excelled in all areas. I can think of no executive more deserving of this recognition.

Tony was a true force of nature in the television business, and his legacy lives on in so many of us who he mentored. He was always at the forefront of growth in what were “fledgling” businesses at the time: branded cable TV channels, premium pay TV movie output deals, international distribution and co-productions. Tony operated at the highest levels and was a welcome presence at industry events across the globe. He truly is deserving of this recognition.
